Pilots Perform During Arctic Thunder

Guardsmen Train for Insertion, Extraction

Soldiers and airmen review instructions for mounting an inflatable zodiac to the bottom of the HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter before insertion and extraction training off the coast of Long Island, New York, July 24, 2014. The soldiers are assigned to Company A, 2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group, and the airmen are assigned to the 101st Rescue Squadron. The soldiers took turns mounting an inflatable zodiac to a HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter, flying to the Atlantic Ocean to release it and jumping into the water.
