The paratrooper is assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team. Th civilian instructors, who have served in the military, have the soldiers strip down to T-shirts and fighting load carriers during the first day on the range to enable them to become comfortable with the weapons, scopes and night vision devices before training in full gear.
