Hagel Meets With Rosie Riveters at Pentagon

On the last day of Women's History Month, Hagel greeted the women who volunteered to be welders, electricians and draftsmen while men fought in Europe and the Pacific. Throughout the month Hagel has highlighted women of character, courage, and commitment who serve and have served the country. He told the women, now in their 90s, that they should be proud of the example they set and that their patriotism was exceptional.
