| The rock group Hootie and the Blowfish perform a United Services Organization sponsored concert for the crew members of the USS Enterprise (CVN 65) while the ship is in port at Minas Jebel Ali, United Arab Emirates, on Dec. 5, 1998. Enterprise and its embarked Carrier Air Wing 3 are deployed to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Southern Watch, which is the U.S. and coalition enforcement of the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq.
