| The USS Cowpens (CG 63) (foreground) and USS Mustin (DDG 89) steam in formation during Exercise Valiant Shield 2007 in the Pacific Ocean on Aug.14, 2007. The joint exercise is being held in the Guam operating area and involves 30 naval vessels, more than 280 aircraft, and approximately 20,000 service members from the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.
