DoD Identifies Army Casualty

           The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

          Cpl. Bobby T. Callahan, 22, of Jamestown, N.C., died on Sept.19, in Baghdad, Iraq, of injuries suffered when his HMMWV rolled over while maneuvering. Callahan was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, N.Y.

           The incident is under investigation.
