DoD Identifies Marine Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt. Justin T. Walsh, 24, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died Oct. 11 at National Naval Medical Center Bethesda, Md., from wounds received while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province, Iraq, on Oct. 5. He was assigned to 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
