DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Spc. Daniel F. Mehringer, 20, of Morgantown, W.Va., died Apr. 27 in Bagram, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered from a non-combat related incident. His death is under investigation.
Mehringer was assigned to Division Special Troops Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C. For more information in regard to this release the media can contact the 82nd Airborne Division public affairs office at (910) 432-0661. |
