General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has nominated Army Maj. Gen. Thomas G. Miller for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general and assignment as the commanding general, First U.S. Army, Fort Gillem, Ga. Miller is currently serving as the deputy chief of staff, G-3/5/7, U.S. Army Forces Command, Fort McPherson, Ga. |
