General Officer Assignments

            The chief of staff, Army announces the assignment of the following officers:
 
            Maj. Gen. David A. Fastabend to director of strategy, plans and policy, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3/5/7, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C. He most recently served as deputy chief of staff, strategic operations (C-3), Multi-National Force-Iraq, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Iraq.
 
            Brig. Gen. Mark A. Bellini, commanding general, U.S. Army Quartermaster Center and School/deputy commanding general, Fort Lee, Fort Lee, Va., to deputy chief of staff, G-4, U.S. Army Europe and Seventh Army, Germany.
 
            Brig. Gen. Jesse R. Cross, commander, Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Defense Logistics Agency, Philadelphia, Pa., to commanding general, U.S. Army Quartermaster Center and School/deputy commanding general, Fort Lee, Fort Lee, Va.
 
            Brig. Gen. Jeffrey J. Dorko, commanding general, U.S. Army Engineer Division, Southwestern, Dallas, Texas, to commander, Gulf Region Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Iraq.
 
            Brig. Gen. Purl K. Keen, commanding general, U.S. Army South, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, to director for operations, J3, U.S. European Command, Germany.
 
            Brig. Gen. Dennis E. Rogers, deputy commanding general/chief of staff, U.S. Army Accessions Command, Fort Monroe, Va., to deputy director for Operations, Installation Management Command, Arlington, Va. Brig. Gen. Rogers was previously announced to serve as assistant division commander, 1st Armored Division, U.S. Army Europe and Seventh Army, Germany.
 
            Brig. Gen. Terry A. Wolff, commanding general, Coalition Military Assistance Training Team, Multi-National Security Transition Command-Iraq to National Security Council, the White House, Washington, D.C.
