            The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

 

            Sgt. Blair W. Emery, 24, of Lee, Maine, died Nov. 30 in Baqubah, Iraq, of wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device.  He was assigned to the 504^th Military Police Battalion, 42^nd Military Police Brigade, Fort Lewis, Wash.
