The Army chief of staff, will announce the following general officer assignments:
Maj. Gen. John A. Macdonald to commanding general, Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command/deputy commanding general, Installation Management Command, Arlington, Va. He is currently serving as deputy commanding general, Installation Management Command, Arlington, Va.
Brig. Gen. John D. Johnson to deputy commanding general, Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command, Arlington, Va. He most recently served as assistant division commander (maneuver), 2d Infantry Division, Korea.
Brig. Gen. Dana K. Chipman to commander/commandant, Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School, Charlottesville, Va. He is currently serving as staff judge advocate, U.S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla.
