General Officer Announcements
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Army Lt. Gen. Ann E. Dunwoody has been nominated for appointment to the rank of general and assignment as commanding general, U.S. Army Materiel Command, Fort Belvoir, Va. Dunwoody is currently serving as the deputy chief of staff, G-4, U. S. Army, Washington, D.C.
Army Maj. Gen. Edgar E. Stanton III has been nominated for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as military deputy for budget, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management and Comptroller), Washington, D.C. Stanton is currently serving as director for Army budget, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management & Comptroller), Washington, D.C. |
