GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S.Cohen announced today that he
has approved the appointment of Gen. Thomas S. Moorman Jr., U.
S. Air Force, on the retired list in the grade of general
effective Aug. 1, 1997.
Moorman is currently serving as vice
chief of staff, U. S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Moorman was born Nov. 16, 1940, in Washington, D.C.
