GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that
he has approved the appointment of Lt. Gen. Edwin E. Tenoso, U.
S. Air Force, on the retired list in the grade of lieutenant
general effective Aug. 1, 1997.
Tenoso is currently serving as
the commander, 21st Air Force, Air Mobility Command, McGuire Air
Force Base, N. J.
Tenoso was born Aug. 22, 1940, in Escondido, Calif.
