General Officer Assignments
The Army chief of staff announces the assignment of the following general officers:
Maj. Gen. Robert W. Cone to special assistant to the commanding general, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Monroe, Va. He most recently served as commanding general, Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan, U.S. Central Command, Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan.
Brig. Gen. Michael A. Ryan, deputy chief of staff for operations and intelligence, G-3/G-2, Allied Rapid Reaction Corps, to director of strategic effects, U.S. Forces Afghanistan, Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan. |
