General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has nominated Air Force Maj. Gen. Herbert J. Carlisle for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as commander, Thirteenth Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. Carlisle is currently serving as director, legislative liasion, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Washington, D.C. |
