Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Gary Roughead announced today the following assignments:
Rear Adm. (lower half) Mark D. Guadagnini will be assigned as commander, Carrier Strike Group Nine, Everett, Wash. Guadagnini is currently serving as chief of Naval Air Training, Corpus Christi, Texas.
Rear Adm. (lower half) Joseph A. Horn will be assigned as program director, AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense, Missile Defense Agency, Dahlgren, Va. Horn is currently serving as deputy director, Missile Defense Agency, Washington, D.C.
Rear Adm. Frank F. Rennie IV will be assigned as commander, Task Force to Improve Business and Stability Operations in Iraq. Rennie is currently serving as battle staff director, J3R, U.S. European Command.
