General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has nominated Air Force Maj. Gen. Ralph J. Jodice II, for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general with assignment as commander, Allied Air Component Command Headquarters Izmir and commander, 16th Air Expeditionary Task Force, U.S. Air Forces in Europe, Izmir, Turkey. Jodice is currently serving as commander, Air Force District of Washington, Andrews Air Force Base, Md. |
