General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Army Lt. Gen. Jack C. Stultz Jr. has been nominated to the rank of lieutenant general. Stultz is currently serving as chief, Army Reserve/commanding general, U.S. Army Reserve Command, Washington, D.C.
Army Lt. Gen. James D. Thurman has been nominated to the grade of general with assignment as commanding general, U.S. Army Forces Command, Fort McPherson, Ga. Thurman is currently serving as deputy chief of staff, G-3/5/7, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C. |
