General Officer Announcement
The Secretary of Defense announced today that the President has nominated Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Dennis J. Hejlik, to serve as commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command; commanding general, Fleet Marine Force Atlantic; commander, U.S. Marine Corps Bases Atlantic; commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe. Hejlik is currently serving as commanding general, II Marine Expeditionary Force in Camp Lejeune, N.C.
