GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Maj. Gen. Larry R. Jordan, U. S. Army, for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general and assignment as the inspector general, Office of the Secretary of the Army, Washington, DC.
He is currently serving as the deputy inspector general, Office of the Secretary of the Army, Washington, DC.
Jordan was born on Feb. 7, 1946, in Kansas City, Kan.
