DOD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation New Dawn.
Staff Sgt. Loleni W. Gandy, 36, of Pago Pago, American Samoa, died Nov. 19 in Balad, Iraq, in a non-combat related incident. He was assigned to the 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, Des Moines, Iowa.
