Flag Officer Announcements
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Navy Reserve Capt. Althea H. Coetzee has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half). Coetzee is currently serving as commanding officer, Navy Reserve Operations Logistics Readiness Detachment 106, Washington, D.C.
Navy Reserve Capt. Valerie K. Huegel has been nominated for appointment to the grade of rear admiral (lower half). Huegel is currently serving as director, CJ-4, Logistics Directorate, Combined Joint Task Force, Horn of Africa, Camp Lemonier, Djibouti.
