Flag Officer Announcements

            Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Gary Roughead announced today the following assignments: 

            Rear Adm. (lower half) Barry L. Bruner, who has been selected for promotion to rear admiral, will be assigned as director, Submarine Warfare Division, N87, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.  Bruner is currently serving as commander, Submarine Group Ten, Kings Bay, Ga. 

            Rear Adm. Michael J. Connor will be assigned as director, Naval Warfare Integration Group, N00X, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.  Connor is currently serving as director, Submarine Warfare Division, N87, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.

            Rear Adm. (lower half) Richard B. Landolt, who has been selected for promotion to rear admiral, will be assigned as director for international engagement, N52, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.  Landolt is currently serving as special assistant to the director, Surface Warfare Division, N86, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.

            Rear Adm. (lower half) Timothy S. Matthews will be assigned as director, Fleet Readiness Division, N43, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.  Matthews is currently serving as commander, Fleet Readiness Centers, Patuxent River, Md.

            Rear Adm. (lower half) Thomas J. Moore, Jr. will be assigned as program executive officer for aircraft carriers, Washington, D.C.  Moore is currently serving as director, Fleet Readiness Division, N43, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.

            Rear Adm. (lower half) James A. Murdoch will be assigned as program executive officer for littoral combat ships, Washington, D.C.  Murdoch is currently serving as fleet maintenance officer, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Norfolk, Va.
