General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Army Reserve Brig. Gen. James T. Walton has been selected for the rank of major general. He is currently serving as the integration officer (CXO), chief, Information Office/G-6, Washington, D.C.
