            The chief of staff, Army announced today the following assignments:

            Maj. Gen. Lynn A. Collyar, director, logistics operations, Defense Logistics Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va., to commanding general, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala.

            Maj. Gen. Michael J. Lally III, director, operations and plans, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., to assistant deputy chief of staff, G-4, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C.

            Maj. Gen. Kurt J. Stein, commanding general, U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., to commanding general, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
