Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Clinton F. Faison III has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral. Faison is currently serving as commander, Navy Medicine West/commander, Naval Medical Center, San Diego, Calif.
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Katherine L. Gregory has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral. Gregory is currently serving as commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Kevin R. Slates has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral. Slates is currently serving as commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic, Norfolk, Va.
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Jonathan A. Yuen has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral. Yuen is currently serving as commander, Fleet and Industrial Supply Centers, San Diego, Calif.
