General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Marine Corps Reserve Col. Paul Lebidine has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Lebidine is currently serving as the chief of staff, 3rd Civil Affairs Group, Marine Forces Reserve, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
