General Officer Assignment
The chief of staff, Air Force announced today the following assignment:
Maj. Gen. Walter D. Givhan, deputy assistant secretary for plans, programs and operations, U.S. Department of State, Washington, DC, to commander, Curtis E. LeMay Center for Doctrine Development and Education, and vice commander, Air University, Air Education and Training Command, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala.
