Flag Officer Assignments

            The Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan W. Greenert announced today the following assignments: 

            Rear Admiral (lower half) Jonathan A. Yuen, who has been selected for promotion to rear admiral, will be assigned as commander, Naval Supply Systems Command/Chief of Supply Corps, Mechanicsburg, Pa.  Yuen is currently serving as commander, NAVSUP Global Logistics Support, San Diego, Calif. 

            Rear Admiral (lower half) Elizabeth L. Train, who has been selected for promotion to rear admiral, will be assigned as director, National Maritime Intelligence Integration Office / commander, Office of Naval Intelligence, Washington, D.C.  Train is currently serving as director for Intelligence, J2, Joint Staff, Washington, D.C. 

            Rear Admiral (lower half) Annie B. Andrews, will be assigned ascommander, Navy Recruiting Command, Millington, Tenn.  Andrews is currently serving as director, Total Force Requirements Division, N12, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C. 

            Rear Admiral (lower half) Kerry M. Metz, will be assigned as commander, Special Operations Command North, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo.  Metz is currently serving as interim commander, Special Operations Command, U.S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla. 

            Rear Admiral (lower half) Michael E. Smith, will be assigned as commander, Carrier Strike Group THREE, Bremerton, Wash.  Smith is currently serving as director, Strategy and Policy Division, N51, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.
