General Officer Assignments

            The chief of staff, Army announced today the following assignments: 

            Maj. Gen. Margaret W. Boor, U.S. Army Reserve, for assignment as commander (Troop Program Unit), 99th Regional Support Command, Fort Dix, N.J.  She is currently serving as the deputy director for logistics operations, J-4 (individual mobilization augmentee), Joint Staff, Washington, D.C. 

            Maj. Gen. Jeffrey E. Phillips, U.S. Army Reserve, for assignment as deputy commanding general (Army Reserve) (individual mobilization augmentee), U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va.  He most recently served as assistant deputy chief of staff, G-1 (individual mobilization augmentee), office of the deputy chief of staff, G-1, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C. 

            Maj. Gen. Nickolas P. Tooliatos, U.S. Army Reserve, for assignment as commander (troop Program Unit), 63d Regional Support Command, Mountain View, Calif.  He most recently served as deputy commanding general (Army Reserve) (individual mobilization augmentee), U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. 

            Maj. Gen. William D. R. Waff, U.S. Army Reserve, for assignment as assistant deputy chief of staff, G-1 (individual mobilization augmentee), office of the deputy chief of staff, G-1, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C.  He is currently serving as the commander (troop program unit), 99th Regional Support Command, Fort Dix, N.J. 

            Brig. Gen. John G. Ferrari, to deputy director, program analysis and evaluation, office of the deputy chief of staff, G-8, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C.  He most recently served as director, joint and futures, office of the deputy chief of staff, G-8, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C. 

            Brig. Gen. Daniel P. Hughes, deputy commanding general, U.S. Army research, development and engineering command/senior commander, Natick Soldier Systems Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., to program executive officer, command, control, and communications (tactical), Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. 

            Brig. Gen. Robert L. Walter Jr., U.S. Army Reserve, for assignment as assistant deputy chief of staff, G-2, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C.  He is currently serving as deputy commanding general, U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, Fort Belvoir, Va. 

            Col. David W. Riggins, director, acquisition and integration division, office of the assistant secretary of the army (financial management and comptroller), Washington, D.C., to deputy commanding general, U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command/senior commander, Natick Soldier Systems Center, Natick, Mass.
