Flag Officer Assignments

The Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan W. Greenert announced today the following assignments:

Rear Adm. Mark J. Belton will be assigned as deputy commander, Naval Supply Systems Command, Mechanicsburg, Pa. Belton previously served as commander, Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group, Williamsburg, Va.

Rear Adm. (lower half) Russell E. Allen will be assigned as deputy commander, Seventh Fleet, Yokosuka, Japan. Allen previously served as executive assistant, Navy Reserve Joint Contingency Unit (JCU) Detachment 502, Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet, San Diego, Calif.

Rear Adm. (lower half) Priscilla B. Coe will be assigned as deputy chief of staff, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, Falls Church, Va. Coe previously served as reserve affairs officer, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, Falls Church, Va.

Rear Adm. (lower half) William K. Davis will be assigned as vice chief of information, Washington, D.C. Davis previously served as Deputy Assistant Chief of Information, Washington, D.C.

Rear Adm. (lower half) Daniel L. Gard will be assigned as deputy chief of chaplains for reserves matters, Washington, D.C. Gard previously served as Joint Task Force Guantanamo Chaplain, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Rear Adm. (lower half) Valerie K. Huegel will be assigned as commander, Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group, Williamsburg, Va. Huegel previously served as deputy commander, Global Logistics Support Command, San Diego, Calif.

Rear Adm. (lower half) Daniel J. MacDonnell will be assigned as reserve deputy commander, Tenth Fleet, Fort George G. Meade, Md. MacDonnell previously served as Navy reserve commanding officer, Tenth Fleet, Fort George G. Meade, Md.

Rear Adm. (lower half) James R. McNeal will be assigned as deputy commander, Global Logistics Support Command, San Diego, Calif. McNeal previously served as commodore, Fifth Naval Expeditionary Logistics Regiment, Point Hueneme, Calif.
