GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Maj. Gen. Robert F. Raggio, United States Air Force, for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as commander, Aeronautical Systems Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio.
Raggio is currently assigned as the program executive officer, Fighter and Bomber Programs, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Raggio was born Nov. 16, 1943, in Pueblo, Colo.
