The chief of staff, Army announced the following assignments:

Maj. Gen. Thomas S. James Jr., deputy chief of staff, G-3/5/7, U.S. Army Forces Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, to commanding general, 7th Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Maj. Gen. Ole A. Knudson, program executive, programs and integration, Missile Defense Agency, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, to deputy director, Missile Defense Agency, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
