GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Lt. Gen. Roger G. DeKok, U.S. Air Force, for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as deputy chief of staff, Plans and Programs, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. DeKok is currently assigned as commander, Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles, Calif.
DeKok was born Jan. 10, 1947, in Kenosha, Wis.
