NAVY FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Vice Adm. Patricia A. Tracey, U.S. Navy, for reappointment to the grade of vice admiral and assignment as deputy assistant secretary of Defense for Military Manpower and Personnel Policy, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Tracey is currently serving as chief of Naval Education and Training and director, Naval Training, N7, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Tracey was born Nov. 30, 1950, in Bronx, N.Y.
