GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the president has nominated Army Brig. Gen. Harold L. Timboe for promotion to the grade of major general. Timboe is currently assigned as commanding general, Brooke Army Medical Center/Great Plains Health Service Support Area, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
