AIR UNIVERSITY COMMANDER TO RETIRE
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that he has approved the appointment of Air Force Lt. Gen. Joseph J. Redden on the retired list in the grade of lieutenant general effective 1 July 1999. Redden is currently serving as the commander, Air University, Air Education and Training Command, Maxwell AFB, Ala.
