LORD NOMINATED FOR AIR UNIVERSITY POST
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Air Force Lt. Gen. Lance W. Lord for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as commander, Air University, Air Education and Training Command, Maxwell AFB, Ala. Lord is currently assigned as vice commander, Air Force Space Command, Peterson AFB, Colo.
