GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Army Lt. Gen. John G. Coburn for appointment to the grade of general with assignment as commanding general, U.S. Army Materiel Command, Alexandria, Va.
Coburn is currently serving as the deputy chief of staff for Logistics, Washington, DC.
