F-16 PILOT RECOVERED
A U.S. F-16CG aircraft returning from a combat mission as part of Operation ALLIED FORCE crashed near Metic, Yugoslavia at about 9 p.m. (EDT), Saturday. The pilot ejected and was recovered. He is currently at a NATO base and appears to be in good condition. The cause of the crash is not known. The incident is under investigation. There is no more information available at this time.
