GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Air Force Lt. Gen. Ronald C. Marcotte for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as vice commander, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Marcotte is currently assigned as commander, Eighth Air Force, Air Combat Command, Barksdale Air Force Base, La.
