GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Army Brig. Gen. Darrel R. Porr for promotion to the grade of major general.
Porr is currently assigned as the commanding general, Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center/Southeast Regional Medical Command, Fort Gordon, Ga.
