The U.S. armed forces will participate in Asian Aerospace 2000 to be held Feb. 22-27, 2000, at the Changi Exhibition Center in Singapore. U.S. military personnel and equipment from the services are scheduled to participate in the aerospace and defense technology exhibition and airshow.

Scheduled aircraft static displays include the Army's AH-64D Apache Longbow and the UH-60l Blackhawk; the Navy's P-3C Orion and E-2C Hawkeye; the Marine Corps' AV-8B Harrier, F/A-18 Hornet, AH-1W Cobra, and the KC-130 Hercules; and the Air Force's F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-15 Eagle and KC-135 Stratotanker. An F-16 is also scheduled to perform a daily aerial capability demonstration. Other aircraft which may take part but have not yet been confirmed include static displays of the Air Force's B-1 Lancer and C-5 Galaxy, and a two-plane B-52 Stratofortress fly-by.

The Navy's amphibious assault ship, the USS Belleau Wood (LHA-3), is scheduled to conduct a port visit in conjunction with Asian Aerospace 2000.
