FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Daniel H. Stone, Supply Corps, for promotion to rear admiral (upper half). Stone is currently assigned as commander, Defense Logistics Support, Defense Logistics Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va.
Additionally, Cohen announced the nomination of Navy Capt. Timothy A. Holden for promotion to rear admiral (lower half). Holden is currently assigned as director, Navy Anti-terrorism Force Protection (N34), Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.
