GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Army Col. Daniel J. Kaufman for promotion to the grade of brigadier general.
Kaufman is currently assigned as professor and head, Department of Social Sciences,
U. S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y.
