GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Air Force Maj. Gen. Raymond P. Huot for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as the inspector general of the Air Force, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Huot is currently serving as mission area director, global power, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Rosslyn, Va.
