FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Navy Rear Adm. John B. Nathman for appointment to the grade of vice admiral with assignment as commander, Naval Air Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet in San Diego, Calif. Nathman is currently serving as director, Air Warfare Division, N88, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
