FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Navy Rear Adm. Michael D. Haskins for appointment to the grade of vice admiral and assignment as inspector general, Department of the Navy, Washington, D.C. Haskins is currently serving as deputy commander in chief, U.S. Naval Forces, Europe, London.
